Als gevolg van het groeiende werkaanbod in het segment executive jets zoekt RAS aanvulling op haar bestand grondwerktuigkundigen B1/B2/C met typeratings. Wij zijn met name op zoek naar:

Part66 B1/B2/C bevoegde GWK’s met ten minste enkele jaren recente ervaring op en in het bezit van type ratings voor relevante vliegtuigtypen, in het bijzonder voor:

  • Bombardier Challenger /Global series
  • Cessna Citation series 510/525/550/560XL/680(A)
  • Piaggio P180
  • Beechcraft King Air B200/B300 series
  • Dassault Falcon 900/2000/7X series

Werkzaamheden

De monteurs/GWK’s voeren alle voorkomende onderhoudswerkzaamheden uit op Rotterdam, maar kunnen ook worden uitgezonden naar andere vliegvelden in binnen- en buitenland in geval daar noodzaak toe is. De dagelijkse werkzaamheden bestaan uit het lopen van reguliere inspecties op alle gebieden van het vliegtuig, alsmede het uitvoeren van reparaties en modificaties en het efficiënt opsporen van storingen. Daartoe beschikt RAS over een ervaren, gemotiveerd en enthousiast team van GWK’s, waarin weinig verloop plaats vindt.

Jouw profiel

  • Je bent proactief en hebt veel affiniteit met vliegtuigonderhoud techniek.
  • Je bent enthousiast, gemotiveerd, flexibel, sleutelvaardig en beschikt over een gezond en analytisch denkvermogen.
  • Je kunt goed in teamverband werken maar ook zelfstandig troubleshooten en beslissingen nemen.
  • Je hebt veel verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en bent op de hoogte van de hedendaagse luchtvaart regelgeving.
  • Je bent bereid om in een tweeploegendienst te werken en je verder te bekwamen in vliegtuigonderhoud.

Overige eisen

  • Je beheerst de Nederlandse- en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift
  • Je bent in bezit van een geldig EASA Part66 AML met een of meer genoemde type bevoegdheden
  • Je bent bereid om stand-by diensten te lopen (één weekend per maand).
  • Je hebt tenminste 2 jaren ervaring als B1/C Certifying Staff op betreffende vliegtuigtype(n)
  • Je bent in bezit van rijbewijs B

The engines from the P&WC rental engine pool enter the shop where they will undergo a thorough PRI (Post Rental Inspection) to evaluate and prepare the engine for the next customer. RAS performs these inspections on a daily basis for both the rental pool of PW500 series and PT6 series engines.

Designated Maintenance

For the PT6A and PT6E-67XP series engines RAS also offers the following services at its home base but many of these services can also be offered on site at customers’ location:

  • On-wing and off-wing HSI (Hot Section Inspection),
  • Fuel nozzle servicing (periodic flow checks, leak checks, cleaning),
  • Trouble shooting,
  • Component replacements,
  • Drive seal replacements,
  • Engine rigging,
  • Propeller seal replacements,
  • AGB gearbox breather carbon seal replacements,
  • ITT T5 harness replacements,
  • Full boroscope inspections & reporting incl. PPI,
  • Compressor blade blend repairs,
  • Corrosion repairs (corrosion removal and paint touch-up),
  • Stud and helicoil replacements.

For the PW500 series engines (PW530A/PW535A,B,E/545A,B,C) RAS also offers the following services:

  • Full boroscope inspections & reporting incl. PPI,
  • Trouble shooting,
  • Component replacements,
  • Drive seal replacements,
  • LUI (Low Utilization Inspection),
  • Extreme environment Inspections,
  • BOV bore corrosion repairs,
  • T1 and T6 ITT harness replacements,
  • Accessory gearbox cover gasket replacements,
  • Intermediate case helicoil replacements (bypass duct side only).

Our MRT can be deployed in hours to travel anywhere in the world.

Base-Maintenance procedures

The RAS organisation has been in business for over 40 years during which it has optimised its Base-Maintenance procedures and communications. We offer you the best customer experience and control during all maintenance inputs. Our procedures are not only focussed on delivering you the best maintenance quality but also the best communications so that you as owner/operator of the aircraft stay in full control of the whole process for costs and downtime with receipt of our regular/weekly updates.

These Base Maintenance procedures ensure transparancy and enables you to participate actively during the maintenance input to discuss costs and leadtimes before they happen and to work with a maintenance partner who has the experience and DNA of an operator.

The RAS maintenance team works a two-shift system during weekdays between 07:00 – 23:00 hrs and is also available for support during weekends.

Our main facilities can provide you or your maintenance representatives with private office space and access to our maintenance facilities so that you can oversee our activities during your aircraft maintenance input. With hotel facilities adjacent to ours, you are always close and yet to enjoy some rest and relaxation. Also direct connections to Rotterdam city centre, The Hague and Amsterdam are just around the corner.

Our avionics department performs a wide range of avionics work

Our avionics department performs a wide range of avionics work from minor repairs on headsets to calibration of instruments, modifications of NAV, COM and GPS systems to panel and airshow outfitting and installation of the newest generation avionics. Next to the repair and modification capability we also perform the annual and bi-annual inspections on avionics and instruments including RVSM and transponder systems. The avionics department is setup to maintain a very wide range of aircraft and equipment. From executive jets like the Cessna Citation series or Falcon 2000LXS to all General Aviation twin and single engine aircraft, to even the smallest Micro light aircraft, gliders, helicopters and hot air balloons.

We can assist you during your aircraft purchase with advise, support and Pre-buy Inspections and guide you through this complex process of acquiring your own aircraft.

Our team is capable and very experienced to perform a thorough Pre-puchase inspection. Together with you, our team assembles a checklist with area’s that are advised to be inspected based on the typical aircraft type, age, country of origin, aircraft availability and many other factors thus providing you with a tailered inspection list and quotation for the job. A typical PPI normally includes a general engine boroscope inspection, desk research for maintenance/damage history, completeness and compliance with current CAA requirements as well as an interior and exterior inspection for the aircraft condition, damage and rate of wear and tear.

A full inspection report will be provided including a classification and recommendation for the inspection findings reported.

During import or export activities RAS can provide you with technical support as part of this process. This also includes contracting desgnated representatives such as FAA DAR inspectors and FAA IA to perform the technical paperwork that is crucial for transfer and acceptance by the FAA.

Our Part-145 organisation can also take care of application of new registration markings, mandatory internal and external decalls and ID plates and assist with technical support where needed during this process.

NDT services

We can serve you with Non Destructive Inspections using most available methods such as Eddy Current, Ultrasonic inspection and Penetrant inspection thanks to the NDT expertise of Level II and Level III specialists.

We serve not only the corporate/private aircraft community but also provide our NDT services to commercial operators and component maintenance facilities worldwide.

RAS is also approved by Textron Aviation as an authorized independent NDI facility for all NDT on Cessna/Citation/Beech aircraft. It allows the company access to all the NDT reference standards and related materials that are required to perform nondestructive testing on all Textron Aviation aircraft.
