RAS approved as P&WC CSC Premium Service Provider PW500 & PT6

Rijnmond Air Services (RAS) is an EASA and FAA approved Part-145 maintenance facility located in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and is proud to announce that it has now been approved by Pratt & Whitney Canada CSC as their Premium Service Provider and added both PT6 and PW500 series engines to its EASA and FAA approvals.

The approval is the result of a year of preparations including engineers training and outfitting of a new engine shop in its brand new facilities in Rotterdam to accomodate the PW500 and PT6 series engines.

The first PW545 engines from the P&WC CSC rental engine pool have already entered the shop where they will undergo a thorough PRI (Post Rental Inspection) to evaluate and prepare the engine for the next customer. RAS will now perform these inspections on a regular basis.

For the PT6 series engines RAS has added the on-wing HSI and fuel nozzle servicing to its approvals which enable them to not only perform the HSI’s in Rotterdam but anywhere in the world with the full support of P&WC CSC. As the (AOG) field support services of RAS are already well known with many operators in Europe, RAS is very happy to now being able to add these engine services to their support package besides the line maintenance services and engine boroscoping.

RAS field support services MRT can be deployed within just a few hours and support can be requested through P&WC CSC Mobile Repair Team Control Centre at pwc.controlcentre@pwc.ca or you may contact RAS direct at maintenance@rasnl.com with your inquiries.
